Adding GitHub Copilot to Typora
Typora is a great markdown editor, but it doesn’t have any AI assistants available. GitHub Copilot is a great AI assistant, but it doesn’t work with Typora. Although AI assistants deliver questionable productivity, I find them definitely extra useful in technical writing.
This has been extremely annoying so far, and I would resort to using Typora for writing and then copy-pasting the content to VS Code to get Copilot’s help. But I found a way to get Copilot to work with Typora using this project, and it works just great. Proof:
I have followed the manual installation instructions, and it works just fine. I can now write in Typora and get Copilot’s help.
