Report False Positives to Anti-Virus Companies
This is an ongoing, constantly updating list of Anti-Virus online false-positive submission methods, sorted alphabetically. If you own a small project like mine, you’ll find that a lot of Anti-Virus companies will falsely identify your project as a malware, virus, bloatware and so on, even if it’s open-source and completely harmless. One way to combat this is to contact AV vendors directly and report your product as safe.
Please use contact methods at the end of this article for any feedback/corrections/additions. Thanks in advance!
The list contains clickable links to submission forms, or in case of email addresses, encoded “mailto:” address filling out majority of the fields in your email client.
